What's with the weather?

Tempature at 9 a.m. this morning.

I am not complaining about the bizarre temperatures for this time of year, but are we going to pay for it later?

Last night, as I was getting home from Cuba, the bank sign showed a temperature of 52 degrees and this was at 10 p.m. in January.

We all remember the ton of snow we had last year, which was plain crazy and now 2012 brings plain crazy warm temperatures.

On average, January is the coldest month of the year, with an average temperature of 32 degrees.  The record high was in 1970 when temperatures reached 74 degrees.  We will not break that record today, but it will be in the mid 60’s, according to the National Weather Service forecast.

Enjoy it while it lasts; I fear as we approach February we may have a drastic change in weather.  Remember, we do live in Missouri and you can wake up to temperatures in the 70's and go to bed with six inches of snow on the ground.
