Wife stabs husband during altercation in Londell, Mo.

Lonedell, Mo.Glen Keune Jr is recovering this morning at Mercy Medical Center after being stabbed in his upper leg late last night.

According to Franklin County Sheriff Gary Toelke Keune told deputies that his wife had stabbed him, during what investigators suspect occured in physical altercation between the two.

Late Wednesday night deputies responded to the 200 block of Wild Turkey Lane in Lonedell for a possible stabbing.  When they arrived on the scene a Missouri State Trooper was attending to the victim.

In a statement released by Sheriff Toelke; one witness reported the use of methamphetamine earlier in the evening; both the wife and husband were  incoherent when deputies arrived.

Toelke also noted there were also children in the residence.  Initially officers suspected one of the children living at the residence was missing, however, it was later determined that the child had been removed by individuals who left the residence prior to the arrival of law enforcement.

The wife was taken into custody for investigation of assault first.  She is described as being a 29 year-old white female.

Further investigation continues this morning while law enforcement search for other individuals who are believed to have been involved or witnessed the incident take place.

Children at the residence were not physically harmed.
