New Haven, Mo. – Children from all over the United States are spending this week at Camp Trinity for a weeklong specialty music camp focused on guitar.  Kirk Hanser from St. Louis, Mo founded the Mid-America Guitar Camp in 2002.

Hanser teaches guitar at Washington University and a guitarist for the St. Louis Symphony.

Hanser said, “Through daily master classes, ensemble, special seminars, and a host of other activities, participants will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the guitar.”

These talented musicians will be performing at Robller Winery this evening at 7:30 p.m. and on Friday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, where over 30 kids from ages 10 – 17 will host a Guitar Ensemble Concert with some of the best guitar players from across the United States.

We will have a full story about the Mid-America Guitar Camp after Friday’s concert.
